I’ve never been one for measuring when I’m cooking. I’m much for of an instinctive cook – a pinch of this, a taste of that, and fingers crossed I haven’t poisoned anyone yet. (Let’s not mention the ‘two tablespoons of salt instead of two teaspoons’ incident. Dark days for all concerned.)
I haven’t got measuring cups as beautiful as this, though. These vintage tin bad boys have the scales to weigh out (amongst other things) sugar, rice, sultanas, milk, lentils, peas, oats and cornflower. And they’ll look jolly good whilst they’re doing it.

I came across these measures on my new favourite website, Pedlars. It’s rare that I come across an interiors shop I haven’t seen before but I spotted it on Pinterest – speaking of Pinterest, come and join the party and follow me on there. LIKE A STALKER. A very welcome stalker.
